Drew Barrymore has become the first fortunate celebrity to work for a jewelry campaign in Gucci’s Italian fashion house.

The poison Ivy star, Barrymore will promote Gucci’s fine jewelry line that is scheduled for a September launch.

Barrymore gave several sensual poses to photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the upcoming product.

Gucci’s creative director, Frida Giannini believes that Barrymore is indeed the best face for the famous, prestigious, and easily recognizable fashion brand and said :

Drew brought wonderful energy and excitement to this project. She is such a strong and confident woman, but her humour and sensitivity made her completely disarming.

Gucci stands at second in fashion brand after LVMH. It is also the biggest selling Italian brand in the world. Gucci operates in 425 stores throughout the world and wholesales its products through franchisees and upscale department stores.
