When it comes to golden jewelry none can challenge the traditional designs. And what could be a better example than this Amore Circle Necklace by Doris Panos? Doris Panos is an American jewelry maker who believes in traditional style of ornamentation. I love the big circular pendant, which has numerous creepy-vein designs crafted inside. To make it doubly attractive, a triplet-chain is attached that highlights your neckline. But the gorgeous look is achieved through the white diamonds of VVS1 clarity, which has a total weight of 2.90 karat. The entire piece is made of 18k yellow gold. This marvelous neckpiece is available for $12,610.

Studded with diamonds and a blue tanzanite, this gold ring will look stunning on any elegant finger. Combination of blue and white on yellow gold ring looks excellent. The true beauty of precious and semi-precious stones lies in their colors and reflectivity. Maybe combination of gold, diamond and stones makes these pieces of exquisite jewelry affordable too. This one looks like a typical oval-cut engagement ring but can be gifted for any occasion and looks good party wear too. What more, these ring are available even on EMIs!

Angular Momentum, known for their unique, innovative ornamental watch dials have finally stepped into the world of traditional ornaments. They have designed some artistic rings, without deviating much from their typical signature styles. These rings look more like designer dials fitted on finger rings. Designs are breathtaking with floral, fish and oriental motifs done in gold, diamond and sapphire, but they look too heavy for elegant fingers. Certainly not recommended for regular comfort wear. Of course, given the artistic design and expensive brand tag, these exclusive jewelry pieces are meant to be treasured for good!

Cartier is best known for its highly ornamental designs of wrist watches. With the latest design Skeleton, Cartier comes up with an innovative look. Can you imagine something in-between transparent and opaque? This is how Skeleton should be described. As the name defines, it has a real skeleton-like dial made of 18k gold. Specially meant for men, this watch has the most traditional looking leather belt attached to a 26 mm stylist case. Manufactured with a limited edition of 100 pieces, Cartier’s Skeleton watch is available in $100. Cartier is always superb, and Skeleton follows the trend!

Tapas, the latest jewelry collection by Frikkia makes me wonder, are the some heavenly creations fallen down on the earth? The jewelry is made of rhodium silver and pure gold with precious black jewels as the center of attractions. While, some of the designs seem inspired by the form of a fish, most of them have straight-cut edges with geometric shapes. I feel the carefully unfinished, shiny yet rough body texture, is very similar to rocks or stones. Innit? Frikkia is a Spanish jewelry house which has its root in Barcelona, a city best known for its artistic talents. Beauty and art is inherent in Frikkia and it’s very well proved by Tapas.

If diamonds are a girl’s best friend then DeBeers is the name every girl would love to attach to her diamond studded jewelry. With the launch of the De Beers Amulet Collection, the company has attached the mythical tale, behind the creation of these sparkling stones, to their new jewelry line. The diamonds encrusted on white gold pendants and rings, carry the patterns of African masks creating impression of talisman paying homage to our guardian spirits. By weaving a little bit of African folklore in the collection, DeBeers has managed to add more glitter and dazzle to the Amulet Collection.

If you are familiar with the No. 5 perfume of Chanel, then you may find a resemblance of that in this magnificent timepiece. But if you are not, then I must tell you that this premiere collection wrist watch is inspired by the shape of that famous perfume bottle. It is one of the best perfumes of the world, and undoubtedly the watch is also projected at replicating the same popularity. The diamond encrusted trim, over a black dial looks classy and princely. The rest of its body is made of white gold. What an interesting and expensive combination!

I had never thought anything much about zippers other than their quite obvious task of fastening dresses, bags and packs. But when I came across Kate Cusack’s Zipper Jewelry collections, I realized how the ingenuity of a designer could convert an inconspicuous fastener to a work of art. The Zipper Pins and the Zipper Necklaces are all hand sewn from a metal zipper, in wonderful shapes. Colorful and ornamental, the zipper pin costs $85 and the zipper necklaces are available in the price range of $400 to $1000, depending on how intricately the piece is crafted with the zipper.
